The idea starts my process. I am currently working on a series called “The Protectors”. It started with my idea to protect the Inlet View Elementary Schoolyard from the Anchorage School District’s plans to destroy it, I then persuaded my family to pose for me. I decided to act the part of Joan of Arc, persecuted by “friends” and enemies. This was inspired by my state representative who called my husband to get me to stop and has sent me insulting emails. All this free provided drama! I am documenting the process on my Instagram page so you can follow along.

All the art that I show here started with an idea, some more prosaic than others.
